dirtySi's Tunes of Note

What a tune! Goldenscan, the guys behind the fantastic anthem Sunrise from years ago return with a trance cut worthy of note. Their last release, Our Times on Lost Language was a great trance affair, although I think a lot of people passed it by. But they can't miss this.

Available on a double A-side with the very notable Halcyon this is a double bill of trance purity. Using breathy, operatic vocals reminiscent of George Winkleworth's trance tune of legend Atlantis - Fiji (at least for those who frequented the Midland's Quench night 5 years back), later remixed by Mr Lange, this track is all about the heady days of 2000.

A sprawling soundscape and layered arpeggio, a wistful Siren's vocal, a few well placed breakbeats and plenty of flange and reverb effects launch this into the main room at the epic trance nights of old.

This is Stadium Trance. And I love it.
